Territorial limits of the Philippines

The Philippines is an archipelago comprising 7,107 islands with a total land area of 300,000 km². The 11 largest islands contain 94% of the total land area. The largest of these islands is Luzon at about 105,000 km². The next largest island is Mindanao at about 95,000 km². The archipelago is around 800 km from the Asian mainland and is located between Taiwan and Borneo.

The islands are divided into three groups: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The Luzon islands include Luzon Island itself, Palawan, Mindoro, Marinduque, Masbate and Batanes Islands. The Visayas is the group of islands in the central Philippines, the largest of which are: Panay, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Leyte and Samar. The Mindanao islands include Mindanao itself, plus the Sulu Archipelago, composed primarily of Basilan, Sulu Island, and Tawi-Tawi.

It's over a hundred steps going down to the waterfalls, a little bit of tiring to your knees but it's worth it when you see the fresh clean blue green colored water, very much inviting to have fun in diving...

It's kind of beautiful and very much soothing to your body and soul, surrounded with trees, flowers and man-made landscapes, it is actually part of the resort though..

It's mysterious the way it has been naturally made... according to some stories, it was named Lourdes Falls when suddenly a young lady committed suicide because of her sad love story and her name was Lourdes...

It's cold and refreshing yet very much enchanting...

Aqualandia Resort, Masaplod, Dauin, Neg. Or.

This is just located along the national high-way going south of Dauin to Zamboanguita.

Drill Shack Beach Resort, Bulak, Dauin, Neg. Or.

This is located along the boundary between San Miguel, Bacong and Dauin, there's a road down straight going to the beach and then turn right. The Rooms and Food are very much affordable though they use sea water as the pool's water.
